Minaz Manji and his team – which includes his family – were back on stage last night at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre, where the World Travel Awards for Africa and the Indian Ocean region were announced at a gala ceremony.
At the 2022 edition of the World Travel Awards has Twiga Tours won 2 awards – Africa’s Responsible Tourism Award 2022 and also Kenya’s Leading Luxury Safari Company 2022. (Kenya’s Leading Safari Company 2022 and Africa’s Responsible Tourism Award 2022)
By virtue of these awards is the company now automatically nominated to compete for the global awards against competitors from other regions and as voting can continue until the 20th of October, there will be ample time to ensure that Twiga will reach the global top, on their own behalf, on behalf of Kenya, East Africa and the African continent.
Minaz, born and bred in Kenya, can look back at an extraordinary career in the tourism industry, which saw him from humble beginnings reach the very top performance level in the industry, respected as a premium brand across the world.
He started the company in 1980 with his father and has over the past 40+ years become the preferred choice of thousands of safari enthusiasts who prefer to experience a safari adventure to East Africa with the confidence of knowing that they will be personally looked after by the Manji family.
The Manji family has also engaged in a long tradition of community service. The tenet to serve underprivileged members of the Kenyan society is according to Minza instilled in his family when one is still a toddler so that this becomes a virtue rather than a burden.
The Manji family, Minaz told www.ATCNews.org, strongly believes that education is the key to a better life and has, for many years now, concentrated its efforts towards ensuring Kenyan children are empowered with this important tool – education.
ATCNews extends best wishes and heartiest congratulations to Minaz, his family and the entire team for once again topping the charts at the African region World Travel Awards.
