  1. Hello Wolfgang,

I have been receiving your posts for several months and read them daily.

I noticed that you confine your coverage strictly to East Africa, however since you regularly report on tourism I want to suggest adding Indaba, the annual Southern African travel expo to your coverage. With the advent of cheap air travel between Dar and Johannesburg and connecting links, the cost and time barriers between the two regions are falling away.

    Regards and stay safe.

    1. Dear Scott,
I do indeed cover only the wider Eastern African region and only under exceptional circumstances go beyond my geographical area, an area I know and where I have many sources helping me to get my reporting right, most of the time anyway. Professionally I of course look at INDABA and in fact the just ended Africa Travel Week in Cape Town with interest but to travel there would perhaps burst my already overstretched travel budget.
Thanks for reading my blog and best wishes
      W.
