HVS, the largest global hospitality consultancy, will be hosting a seminar to help guide hotel owners and developers through the challenges of hotel ownership. To be held at the Park Inn Hotel, Nairobi on 21-22 May 2019 the seminar will provide delegates a challenging educational environment in which to broaden their knowledge of this important industry.
The seminar will be delivered by consultants with over 50 years experience in the industry, each of which will be sharing their experiences from projects in Kenya and across the continent and also best practice examples from around the world. Sessions include hotel valuation, the benefits of Asset Management and Construction challenges in the region, before finishing with the important 10 Things A Hotel Owner Needs to Know.
Managing Partner of HVS Cape Town, Tim Smith MRICS, who will be presenting the seminar commented “We hosted a very successful sold out event on How To Value Your Hotel in Nairobi in November 2017, this seminar builds on that success and will help new and experienced developers get the most out of their investments. It is a must attend event for anyone looking to learn more about the hotel development process and to demystify this complex investment class. With the additional knowledge delegates will gain from the seminar they will be able to make much more informed decisions and de-risk their sizeable investments.”
Catherine Gachie, Business Development Director for HVS, who is based in Nairobi added “The hotel market in Kenya, and Eastern Africa as a whole, is developing incredibly quickly, despite many challenges. It is important that owners are fully informed of the actual risk and reward profile of their development. We will be sharing the global HVS knowledge to ensure all developers and owners are well informed.”
As a further boost to the Kenyan tourism industry, the HVS team will be available to offer specific and confidential advice to any delegate on 23 May 2019 in private meetings. Book your slot early to avoid disappointment.
