| Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) has intensified efforts to protect wildlife as prolonged drought continues to strain natural resources across the country. The new measures aim to ensure animals and livestock have access to water and food, while also safeguarding communities living near parks. Director General Erustus Kanga said water infrastructure projects will be implemented in Kilifi, Taita Taveta, Kwale, Isiolo, Tana River, Marsabit, Turkana, Garissa, Wajir, Mandera, Tharaka Nithi, and Meru. |
