Humphrey Fellows Speaks at East African Wildlife Society
Humphrey Fellow Paul Udoto spoke at the "From Bees to Beasts" event hosted by East African Wildlife Society (EAWS) in New York City. He discussed how poaching and international illegal wildlife trade had become a multi-million-dollar criminal enterprise with links to other serious trans-national crimes and stressed the need for greater international partnerships and cooperation to sustain Africa’s development and foster global security. Mr. Udoto is the Corporate Communications Manager at the Kenya Wildlife Service and is hosted by Arizona State University.
Humphrey Fellows Honor MLK Weekend of Service
Humphrey Fellows at Vanderbilt University participated in the Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend of service by volunteering at Room In The Inn. They helped set up onsite shelter and served dinner to hundreds of people in need. The Fellows felt it was truly meaningful and identified it as one of their most favorite service experiences..
