KWS relocates two bull elephants from Salama to Tsavo West National Park

In a carefully coordinated operation that blended precision and a touch of nature’s own drama, the Kenya Wildlife Service veterinary and capture team successfully relocated two elephants from community land in Salama Village near Rumuruti Forest, Laikipia county, to Tsavo West National Park. The jumbo duo had made themselves rather too comfortable among local farms, helping themselves to harvests and leaving anxious families counting losses and enduring sleepless nights.
