Good morning and thank you for signing up for the 2023 edition of the spectacular Kyaninga Triathlon. We are really looking forward to welcoming you back and having another great day.
Here are some important times and logistics for Saturday 20th of May so that you are well prepared, but please email us or call / WhatsApp Fiona on 0778 277248 with any questions.
After the race, there will be a delicious Buffet lunch (45,000 per person) in the events hall overlooking the lake, and the bar will be open for cold beers and post-race relaxation. Showers are available in the events hall, but please bring your own towel.
Spectators and supporters are welcome and encouraged to come and join in the fun.
To make check-in easier on Saturday morning, please pay registration fees by Thursday, 18th May. Payment options are further down the page.
Distances
Sprint – 750m swim / 17km cycle / 5km run
Long – 1500m swim / 34km cycle / 10km run
Duathlon – 5km run / 17km cycle / 5km run

7 am – check in – all competitors
8 am – race briefing – all competitors
8.30 am – Long race start
8.45 am – Sprint race start 1
9.00 am – Sprint race start 2
9.30 am – 5k run start

11 am – Salsa with Valentino – all welcome
11.40 am – children’s obstacle race
12 noon – African Dance with Valentino
12.45 pm – Buffet Lunch
2 pm – Dance performance
2.30 pm – Prizegiving and raffle draw
3 pm onwards – Dance and have fun!!!

The purpose of the Triathlon, Duathlon and Fun Runs is to fundraise for Kyaninga Child Development Centre.
Only 5,000 shillings a ticket with some wonderful prizes, including stays at:

Bike Hire
If you still need to arrange bicycle hire, please contact Bike Ventures before Thursday, 18th May, as it will be too late for them to arrange anything on Friday. They will transport the bikes to Fort Portal. Bike Shop Uganda has rentals available as well, but you are responsible for the transport.
