| On the 1st of September 2021, Ontulili Primates Protection commemorated World Primates Day. The objective of the event was to enforce the need to conserve the habitats for primates and co-existence. OPP is a women’s group dedicated to the protection of monkeys and other primates along the river.

| After 17 years of dedicated service as the Laikipia Wildlife Forum Board Chair, Rt. Major-General Peter Waweru, is leaving the Forum’s chair position. Major-General Waweru showed true consistency and constancy in his dedication to see the Forum prosper as a Natural Resource conservation hub of choice.
