Lalyans Nouvo Sesel hits districts with blitz approach

Over the past two weeks, Lalyans Nouvo Sesel has launched a dynamic series of blitzes across the islands, spanning Mahe, Praslin, and La Digue. The purpose was simple but vital: to bring their candidates directly to the people — to listen, to engage, and to show that leadership is about connection, not distance.

Last weekend, their focus was on La Digue and Praslin, where the contrast in leadership could not have been clearer.

Their presidential and vice-presidential candidates walked for hours with the people — side by side with supporters, even greeting members of other parties who shared the same boat or crossed their path. That is unity. That is respect. That is teamwork, comradery, and dedication in action.

Meanwhile was Mr. Ramkalawan driven in a club car to the stage, spitting venom — mocking, dividing, and tearing down instead of lifting up. He brought over numbers from Mahe to fill a tiny area on La Digue — and even then, much of the space remained empty. He ignored that his own supporters greeted other candidates warmly and expressed disappointment with his performance over the past five years.

The success of the LNS blitzes on La Digue and Praslin is undeniable. The warmth, the crowds, and the spirit of togetherness proved that Seychellois are ready for change — ready for leaders who walk with them, support each other, and show dedication to the people and not rule from above.

At Lalyans Nouvo Sesel, they lead with transparency, courage, and action. Their manifesto was released first — not days before the election — because the people deserve to know what candidates are bringing to the table. Their vision is simple: to lower the cost of living and build a government that works for the people, not against them and not for itself.

Leadership is about facing scrutiny and delivering solutions — not avoiding debates or cherry picking competitors. While others boycott accountability, LNS stand ready with real leadership, real plans, and real results. This is about the future of the children, the families, and the entire nation. The choice is that of the voters: choose courage, choose experience, choose a government that works for you.

Said LNS in a media release to ATCNews: Fellow Seychellois, the choice before us is clear. Both old parties have contributed to the state we are in today. Their silence on TRNUC compensation shows neither is willing to properly contend with the past. One party has spent more time trying to discredit our candidate than delivering a timely manifesto. They also preached transparency but voted no to asset declarations for family members. Leadership is about accountability, not distractions.

As for the government in power: power does not corrupt; fear of losing power does. We cannot continue to support the same two old parties that have dominated for decades while our families struggle with rising costs, bureaucracy, and wasteful spending.

The choice is yours. Choose wisely. Choose experience. Choose someone who does not need to learn on the job. Choose someone with real qualifications to be here. The future of our children, our families, and our nation is at stake. Make the choice for real change that works for all of us. Lalyans Nouvo Sesel is ready, and we hope you are too.

Across every neighborhood and community, our candidates have engaged citizens on the issues that matter most: housing, fisheries, education, healthcare, the drug crisis, the cost of living, and the future of our nation. Seychellois are showing their hunger for a government that listens, responds, and acts for the common good.

These blitzes send a powerful message: leadership is not about appearances on a stage, mocking others or making the most noise; it is about walking with the people, working as a team, and delivering results.

Lalyans Nouvo Sesel is present, committed, and ready to lead with integrity, courage, and vision.
