Le Petit Village Hotel, like many other leading hotels in the city, continues to suffer from the inexplicable continued closure of Entebbe International Airport, given that most of the pre-pandemic visitors were guests from overseas, starting or ending their safaris or staying while on business in the country.
All neighbouring countries of Uganda have either never closed their airport – like Addis Ababa, now the busiest in Africa – or opened their airports already weeks ago, while Uganda remains out in the aviation cold and businesses continue to suffer as a result of this irrational decision.
