The center is home to orphaned elephants, rhinos and most recently hippos-offering them a foster home before finally being reintegrated into the wild. Best time to visit is between 11 am to noon, when the babies come for their mud bath, play time, and bottle feeding.
Indoor ice skating at Panari Hotel
Yet another of East Africa’s first, the 15,000 square feet ice rink offers an experience of it’s own kind. Usually, professional instructors are present throughout the sessions to ensure safety, as well as give needed assistance to the beginners. Lessons for those seeking to go pro are also available, and so is a recommendable gateway to kick starting not just a hobby, but also to nurture talent which could turn into professional career. The ice rink is open everyday, compete with other assorted activities offered by the Panari Hotel on Mombasa road.
GP-Karting in Langa’ta
This is definitely for thrill seekers, and the bold at heart who thirst for an adrenaline rush once in awhile. Located at the Splash, off Lang’ata road and next to the Carnivore is the circuit track where the races are hosted. Row and sail away at Uhuru park
