#Malawi set for strike of immigration officers putting entries and exits in doubt

Information seen by ATCNews suggests that an internal dispute within the Department of Immigration in Malawi, between staff and Director General, might lead to an immediate strike of all immigration personell.

This applies to both headquarters as well as all border posts, land borders as well as airports.

ATCNews will monitor the situation and advise readers accordingly, if the strike will indeed take place as well as any resolution of the grievances aired by immigration staff.
