MID DECEMBER FISHING TOURNAMENT ATTRACTS HUGE INTEREST

When big game fishing comes to Malindi, you can be sure that Roger Sylvester of the Driftwood Club is in the thick of it.
The mid December competition, running 13th and 14th of December over two days before moving on to Mtwapa the following day, will see two trophies up for grabs, the Churchill Trophy and the Morson Cup.
Given past experience with fishing off the Malindi coast line are early bookings for accommodation recommended and Driftwood, in their best tradition, has put special packages on the market for guests either driving in or else using one of several flights a day from Nairobi to Malindi.
Driftwood also told ATCNews that a few rooms for the festive season are still available and can be booked by early birds.
