This is an update on the flooding situation at the Mara caused by the ongoing heavy rains.
Mara Serena Safari Lodge is accessible by road using the recommended alternative longer route (with a map attached for reference):
Nairobi – Narok – Bomet – Kaplong – Keroka – Nyanguru – Kilgoris – Lolgorien – Oloololo Gate – Mara Serena Safari Lodge
We are aware of the impact the floods have had on several camps in the Mara and we are taking every precaution to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests and staff. However, we still encourage travellers to consider flying-in through the Mara Serena Airstrip.
