81 vultures have been rehabilitated and released back into the wild following a mass poisoning in Kruger National Park that killed over 120 birds in May. The incident, linked to suspected poachers, involved a poisoned elephant carcass and has sparked urgent calls for enhanced wildlife protection measures. The poisoning occurred when poachers laced an elephant carcass with toxic substances within the protected boundaries of Kruger National Park. |
