Meet Zack – the dog who protects elephants

Zack, the Belgian Malinois dog, is NRT’s newest recruit to the anti-poaching squads. His speed, agility and strength will help the armed rangers tackle suspected elephant and rhino poachers in the conservancies, as well as assisting communities in tackling stock theft and road banditry.

Josphine Ekiru awarded Head of State Commendation

NRT’s Peace Coordinator Josphine Ekiru was last week awarded a Head of State Commendation by the Isiolo County Commissioner, George Natembeya. This was for her outstanding work in building peace between warring ethnic groups in northern Kenya. Well done Josphine!
