The International Tourism Bourse (ITB) Berlin is a must for all tourism professionals in the world. Leading trade show and covering all the offer offered by the tourism industry, it hosts, from March 6 to 10 at the Berlin Exhibition Hall , nearly 180,000 visitors, including 110,000 professionals, and more than 10,000 exhibitors from 180 country .
The presence of Reunion Island Tourism on the ITB which is the largest European exhibition of tourism meets the expectations of the strategic direction of diversification of the destination in the target markets of Europe: France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany and Austria. The IRT has therefore installed a stand with the colors of the intense island in the heart of the lobby "Indian Ocean". The Reunion stand, with an area of 167.50 m², is divided into two exhibition spaces and hosts 27 sub-exhibitors and Reunion companies.
An exceptional showcase for Reunion Island and its "ambassadors" of the riches of our island. Hotels, tour operators, travel agencies, airlines or car rental company, highlighting their products, services and know-how, it is the quality and the diversity of the tourist offer Reunion which they make the demonstration.
"Get Together": a friendly event for tourism professionals
From March 6th to 8th, the Berlin ITB Fair is dedicated exclusively to professionals . The opportunity to promote the Réunion destination and its many assets with tour operators, travel agencies and journalists. Thus, from March 6, a meeting with the exhibitors is organized from 19h.
On Thursday , March 7 , between 4:30 pm and 6 pm, the IRT also set up an event entitled: "Get Together" . Tourism professionals are invited to share a moment of exchange in a relaxed atmosphere and around Reunion products prepared by the stand’s caterer.
Finally, this great tourism trade show will close with two days open to the general public, March 9 and 10. Again, the Reunion stand has many surprises for visitors.
