FLEET EXCHANGE ON COURSE AS AIR SEYCHELLES PREPARES TO RECEIVE FIRST A320NEO BY MID YEAR

Air Seychelles is on course for the delivery of their first Airbus A320Neo aircraft, which will be leased from CDB Aviation as reported here last year.
It is expected that the airline will start operations with the new aircraft early in the second half of this year, taking advantage of the lower fuel burn and other improved operating economics.
The airline has already announced that they will up their flights to Johannesburg to daily and also serves Mauritius and Mumbai. While flights to Abu Dhabi will be halted will Air Seychelles return to Madagascar when services to Antananarivo will resume in a few weeks.
Air Seychelles, in a major restructuring, last year halted long haul operations and returned their Airbus A330 fleet to partner Etihad.
