MOMBASA HOTEL SHOW CONFIRMED FOR END NOVEMBER

The Mombasa Hotel Show is returning for its second edition, due to be held from the 27th to the 29th of November at the City Mall in Mombasa.
Slujan Events is organizing the exhibition for which some 2.500 visitors are expected to interact with the more than 50 exhibitors dealing in the supply of equipment, provisions and services to the hotel industry at the Kenya coast.
Steven Owuor of Slujan Events earlier in the day expressed his confidence to this correspondent that the Mombasa Hotel Show would do even better this year than last year. He said: ‘This is the number one expo for hotel suppliers who specialize in kitchens, bathrooms, facilities management, technology, security, hotel services, fit out, operating equipment and supplies, HORECA, interiors, lighting and design, hotel build or leisure and outdoor. Supply chain management is a critical component of service delivery in the Hotel Industry. Increasingly, hotels are looking for the most efficient ways to procure supplies as they reduce costs. The show, running on the theme, “Getting Back on Track”, is aimed at giving our local hotels, lodges and restaurants an edge by providing a platform to engage and interact with product suppliers and service providers’.
With over 2,500 hotel and tourism professionals visiting the event, it offers a forum to do business with key buyers from leading hotels, lodges and hospitality establishments including; owners, operators, managers, consultants and developers.
After a successful 2014 show with the support of the Department of Tourism and Culture Development, Mombasa County and the Kenya Association of Hotel Keepers & Caterers (KAHC), we look forward to a bigger show this year where we will offer a host of new exhibits, features and even better professional seminars.
Slujan Events targeted to have 50 exhibitors from both local and international markets, however, with over 25 exhibitors already signed up, this target may be surpassed as the suppliers and service providers continue to show interest in participation. Some of the exhibitors who have confirmed participation include Dubai based Marino Kitchen Equipment, Al Halabi Ref. & Kitchen Equipment and AlZaher General Facilities Supply amongst several local exhibitors.
