More European destinations by Brussels Airlines come next summer

BRUSSELS AIRLINES ANNOUNCES FIFTH NEW DESTINATION FOR 2017

After announcing a few weeks ago that Mumbai in India will join the Brussels Airlines long haul network from next year, has the airline also added more European destinations from early next year.
Among them will be Comiso (Sicily / Italy), Rhode (Greece) and Funchal (Madeira, Portugal). Now have news emerged that Palma de Mallorca will also be added next year with one flight per week, leaving Brussels every Saturday for the centre of the Balearic islands. This makes for ten destinations overall in Spain, a popular holiday destination in Europe but also important for trade through such cities as Madrid and Barcelona.
The two hour flights from Brussels Airport will be operated with Airbus A319 or A320 equipment, depending on the booking situation.
Other key long haul destinations for travelers from Uganda and Rwanda are New York and Toronto, which are operated year round. Nonstop Washington flights operate during the European summer season with flights in winter flown under a code share arrangement with United Airlines, a Star Alliance partner of Brussels Airlines.
Brussels Airlines is a member of the Lufthansa Group and a Star Alliance member and the main carrier out of Brussels Airport. The company has more than 3.500 employees and 49 aircraft operating some 300 flights daily, connecting the Capital of Europe to over 90 premium European, North American and African destinations. As from March 2017 will the airline operate 5 weekly flights to Mumbai, India.

On long haul flights, the airline operates an all new Business Class with full flatbeds and state of the art inflight entertainment, and a brand new Economy class with ergonomic seats and individual inflight entertainment touchscreens. Long-haul flights are operated with Airbus A330-200 and A330-300 aircraft. In addition did Brussels Airlines recently launch an economy premium section under the name of ‘Economy Privilege‘.

On its European routes Brussels Airlines offers the choice between Bizz&Class, Flex&Fast, Light&Relax and Check&Go, catering for all budgets.
