Special Lion Safari in Kenya
Dear friend of Ewaso Lions,
We are delighted to invite you on a special lion conservation safari to celebrate our 10th Anniversary by joining us in Kenya next June. An intimate group of up to seven people will have the chance to see our programmes first-hand, meet the team who works tirelessly to monitor lions and keep them safe, as well as meet some of the local Samburu communities and enjoy Keny’s wildlife. The price includes a donation to Ewaso Lions, so your participation financially supports our on-going work in protecting lions in Northern Kenya.
This special safari has been a long time in the planning, but I am delighted we have now finalised the arrangements.
Liz Drake at Spencer Scott Travel Services came out to Westgate Conservancy in Samburu in January, and together we have handpicked this safari. I know that if you are able to join me you will be in for an unrivalled experience, far removed from a ‘typical’ tourist safari. My team and I are already looking forward to it with immense excitement.
I hope to give you an informative and comprehensive experience of lion conservation and to share all the wonderful places and wildlife in Samburu with you. We’ll celebrate our 10th Anniversary together by participating in a sponsored bush walk or run of 2km, 5km or 10kms for lions.
The second part of your Kenyan safari is with Maasai guide Jackson Looseyia of Big Cat Diary fame, on his home patch and that of the Marsh Pride – the wonderful Masai Mara National Reserve. Here you’ll spend time observing all the big cats and other carnivores as well as great herds of wildebeest, elephants, zebra and buffalo and much more…
Jackson and I have some special surprises planned for you so there will be plenty of fun intermingled with conservation elements and of course observing wildlife activity as it unfolds before us.
You’ll stay in your own luxury private bush camp close to our headquarters in the Westgate Conservancy and at a wonderful secret bush camp in the Masai Mara. You’ll have exclusive use of two safari vehicles throughout and small private planes will fly you around. Liz will be with you throughout making sure everything runs smoothly, so you’ll be in safe hands.
And remember, this is not just a regular safari: your participation includes a donation that goes directly to our lion conservation work. This is a safari with a cause.
You can see a copy of the full itinerary liz or call +44 1825714310.
Your participation will make a real difference to Ewaso Lions and be much appreciated. I do hope you’ll come and see us.
