On Saturday, the 28th of October there will be a temporary road closure starting at 11.00pm due to the Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon that will be held from 6.00am on 29th October. The affected areas will primarily be the Southern Bypass and Langata Road.
This closure is essential to ensure the safety and smooth running of the marathon, which is a significant event in #Kenya’s capital city.
Travelers intending to fly out of Wilson Airport or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport tomorrow should therefore plan their routes accordingly, allowing for potential delays or detours if they have to drive / travel in or through these areas during that time.
