The management of More Cream Than Coffee, a dynamic digital travel media and destination
promotion company is pleased to announce the appointment of Nancy Chavi as the new Editor-
in-chief of its flagship publication, Travels & Thrills magazine.
With nearly a decade of experience in communication consulting, Nancy Chavi is a
communication specialist in news writing and documentary production, whose journey has
been fueled by a passion for storytelling and an expertise in transforming connections through
engaging content. Since 2017 her news stories have been featured on a number of news
platforms including allafrica.com, Zodiak Malawi, The Nation Malawi, Times News Malawi,
Nyasatimes and many other platforms print and online.
Chavi has a nose for news as she keeps up to date with current events and loves to travel. It is
easy for her to source out news and her easy going and calm nature makes her approachable to
different groups and cultures. Throughout her career, she has honed her skills in intercultural
communication, public relations, and organizational communication, allowing her to resonate
with diverse audiences. Nancy Chavi’s ability to deliver compelling keynote speeches and
initiatives has empowered brands and individuals alike, creating narratives that engage and
inspire.
The newly appointed Editor-in-chief who has already hit the ground running, with the expected
release of Travels & Thrills Vol. 2: Issue 1 later in January 2026 expressed her delight at taking
up the mantle.

Erstwhile Editor-in-chief of the magazine, Niyi David, along with the company’s COO, Anniey
Mwangi both expressed their satisfaction with the choice of Chavi as the right person to take
the magazine to new heights. The pair urged their readers to look forward to the next edition of
the magazine which promises to be an exciting and informative read. Travels & Thrills magazine
which was launched last year will mark its first anniversary on January 15, 2026. According to
David, the magazine will now publish as a bi-monthly, instead of quarterly.
