News from ‘further down south’ – the latest edition of Gill Staden’s Livingstone bi-Weekly

Gill this week sent her latest edition of her prized newsletter, using her car battery to power up her router and laptop, following extensive loadshedding in the city of Livingstone … and does that not sound so very familiar to us here in East Africa, even though the power supply situation has markedly improved over the past year.

All the more she deserves a round of applause for her extraordinary effort to dispatch her news in a timely fashion, undeterred, if greatly annoyed by Zambia’s power company.
