Reteti Elephant Sanctuary Opened in Namunyak
Namunyak Community Conservancy is to open the first community owned and managed elephant orphanage in Africa. The Reteti Elephant Sanctuary will take in orphaned and abandoned elephant calves with an aim to release them back into the wild herds adjoining the Sanctuary.
