WHY DOGS?
Dogs are extremely useful for their track, scent and attack skills. The best breeds for the job are Bloodhounds and Belgian Malinois. They can track criminals, search vehicles for weapons and apprehend suspects so rangers can safely make arrests. The Rhino Dog Squad also protects other endangered wildlife and helps to reduce crime in local communities. |
|
NYOTA
Nyota means Star in Swahili, which is a true reflection of this amazing bloodhound, who’s been protecting rhinos for many years at Ol Jogi. She’s mothered puppies that have gone on to become the best tracker dogs in the business. Her favourite things are sausages, being tickled and saving rhinos. Please help Nyota save more rhinos.
