CITES Secretariat welcomes APEC Joint Ministerial Statement (NA comment: The Secretary General finds time to comment on yet another conference in …….China – but not on the China/Tanzania scandal. Have you noticed how at all these events people who think they are important love to have their photo taken? Do you think they smile because they know they have told others what they want to hear, but have no intention of following through with?)

More funds for Heart of Borneo scheme SABAH/MALAYSIA (NA comment: More promises waiting to be broken.) http://www.theborneopost.com/2014/11/11/more-funds-for-heart-of-borneo-scheme/
WOW! At last some government honesty about the state of what remains of Malaysia’s rainforests. Chances are this hapless Minister didn’t realise the revelation he was making at the time. Rather embarrassing for his colleagues, not least those in Sabah who regularly boast about their rainforests – while secretly cutting them down.
