Zimbabwe’s Plan to Export Wild Elephants: The Full Audio Interviews http://world.einnews.com/article/258089452/tgAwgmGjQJutJbyR (NA comment: based on all the media coverage AND statements made by the Zimbabwe government, why not listen up the their environment minister being, to put it charitably, economical with the truth?)

CURRENTLY IN PURGATORY AND WAITING

TO GO TO HELL.

ALL THANKS TO CHINA. IT’S SO WRONG, ISN’T IT?

…CONSIGNING THEM TO A LIFE OF CRUELTY AND ABUSE IN CHINA.

CITES OFFICIALS CAN EASILY STOP THIS TRADE. IF THEY HAD AN OUNCE OF CONCERN FOR ELEPHANTS, THEY WOULD BLOCK THE SHIPMENT, WOULDN’T THEY?

YES – CITES OFFICIALS – ONCE AGAIN AT THE FOREFRONT OF EXPANDING THE

CRUEL WILDLIFE TRADE.

SHAME ON CHINA AND ZIMBABWE.

Will YOU please write and tell this man to block the trade in baby elephants, today, while it is still fresh in your mind? It’s the least you can do, isn’t it?

WILL BKSDA (Wildlife authority) IN JAKARTA NOW RAID – BETTER STILL, CLOSE DOWN ………..

THE INFAMOUS JATINEGARA WILDLIFE MARKET – JAKARTA, INDONESIA? It’s not far from their offices.
Despite this market openly selling protected species it has remained in business for as long as anyone can remember. Local law enforcement officials show no interest in local law enforcement.
The following are a random selection of photos from a recent visit. This was a very typical days’ trading and it’s one of two such markets in Jakarta. The other one is, if anything, more notorious and larger. Far more animals are sold online. No one appears to care. Not even CITES.

There were at least 36 owls for sale.
