#EMIRATES AND #FLYDUBAI EXPAND CODESHARES TO 81 DESTINATIONS

Emirates and FlyDubai have further widened their codeshare operation, now covering 81 destinations between Dubai’s two main airlines.
Key elements like baggage allowance and free meals will be given to Emirates passengers flying on to their final destination with FlyDubai though inflight service and seat comfort are of course another issue altogether, especially for travelers flying in business class.
For Entebbe, which both airlines serve, no code share is planned however although the two airlines have agreed to optimise FlyDubai’s departure times from Entebbe and also from Dubai. This now allows for better connectivity for Ugandan travelers connecting from or into the respective networks of both airlines.
While FlyDubai has withdrawn from Bujumbura and Kigali are in particular the airline’s routes to Tanzania doing well with added flights to Kilimanjaro, Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar. Emirates continues to serve only Dar es Salaam.
