Not to be missed – the East Africa Tourism Stakeholders Forum at the Sarova Stanley on 10th October

ACTION PACKED THREE DAYS AWAIT VISITORS TO THE MAGICAL KENYA TRAVEL EXPO

(Posted 26th September 2014)

While the event will take place in Nairobi, as part of the Magical Kenya Travel Expo, is the content of the early morning meeting at the Sarova Stanley Hotel all about East Africa, East African cooperation and to promote more regional travel between the East African Community member states.

The ‘East Africa Tourism Stakeholders Forum’ aims to create a better understanding how the entire region can benefit from increased travel of locals and expatriates visiting the tourism attractions in neighbouring countries, from the shores of lakes Kivu and Tanganyika to the shores of the Indian Ocean, and all the national parks in between.

This year’s Magical Kenya Travel Expo, the fourth since the event was created, will for the second year running see a symposium and workshops take place at the KICC, discussing a range of topics of interest to the tourism industry in not just Kenya but the wider region, and of course giving an indicator of how strong the region is to the hosted buyers from around the world, who are flown into Kenya courtesy of the Kenya Tourism Board, Kenya Airways and a number of participating partner companies whose contributions have made the trip to Nairobi and to selected national parks possible.

Expect live reporting from on site, the official opening of MKTE 2014, the ongoing showcasing of Kenya’s attractions and from the symposium, including the event at the Sarova Stanley on the morning of the 10th of October.
