If you are reading this it’s because you are one of our valued supporters. We’re ending the year with an urgent appeal for your donations – as we face one of the biggest challenges in our conservation history.

Kenya has received an unfair share of bad press this year – and this has hit Ol Pejeta hard. Without visitors, we really struggle to make ends meet.

So we are asking for your help. We need some funds to fill in the gaps that the lack of tourists has created. Please consider ending the year by making a donation to Ol Pejeta.

There are many ways to contribute:

  • You can visit our new online adoption and giving centre: Adopting a chimpanzee or a rhino, or sponsoring a child makes a great gift for friends and family this festive season, and there are plenty of fun packages to choose from
  • You can donate via our Crowdrise or JustGiving sites, depending on where you are based in the world
  • If you are based in Kenya, you can donate via Mpesa. Pay bill / Business No. 964550 (please type the word "DONATION" in the account no. field)

And if you’ve visited Ol Pejeta, you will know how much your donation matters, however great or small. So we reach out to you to end the year by making a real difference to conservation in Kenya, because if we don’t… who will?

The chimpanzees at Sweetwaters can never be reintroduced to the wild and therefore need ongoing support. It costs us $4,000 a year to look after one chimpanzee!

By adopting one of our chimpanzees for a year, you will help us to give it the life it deserves. You will also help us to secure the future of all the orphans cared for at the sanctuary.
