FORESHORE SIGNATURE LUX BECOMES ONOMO’S THIRD HOTEL IN CAPE TOWN

Onomo Hotels have confirmed the opening of their third Cape Town property, the Foreshore Signature Lux, located along Heerengracht Street just 250 metres from the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
The new hotel joins the Onomo Hotel Cape Town – Inn on the Square and the Signature Lux Hotel by Onomo Waterfront, the former located in a prime city centre location at Greenmarket Square and the latter also within walking distance to the CTICC and, important for those visiting for leisure, the famous Cape Town Waterfront, a destination in its own right.
With 157 bedrooms is the new hotel almost the same size as the main Onomo Hotel Cape Town – Inn on the Square with 165 rooms, but larger than sister property Signature Lux Waterfront with only 87 rooms.
The Foreshore Signature Lux incorporates all the service elements already proven successful at the Waterfront but also introduces new colour schemes in the rooms and public areas. The new hotel is clearly aiming at the cost conscious younger business traveler able to navigate check in and check out on their smartphones in the kind of hotel providing the key creature comforts without costing a fortune. A dedicated App is available for download for all Signature Lux properties to access hotel services from one’s own phone.
A complimentary airport shuttle further keeps the cost down as do down to earth prices in the hotel’s restaurant. Open from 06.30 hrs until 22.00 hrs does the restaurant serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
WiFi is notable not capped, unlike some hotels with fancier names but a poorer service mentality, again saving money for guests opting to stay in the latest Onomo addition.
Tea and ‘Bean to Cup’ stations are available for guests on every floor 24/7, making up for the absence of kettle and tea / coffee bags in the room itself.
