All Work and Some Play.
June 19, 2019
So, last year I did a bit of traveling and in every new town, I wondered what to do with the few hours I had to myself apart from getting some sleep.
Well, for all those coming to Kenya’s Capital on business, here are some of the things you could do.
A Nairobi Tour
Fan fact, Nairobi has a National Park in the City! Yes, lions have their own space to walk as they please in a certain space within the City! Speak to your host or I could recommend one. Be sure to enjoy an early morning Game drive.
If you have a lot more time, you could continue your day and head on to The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, which is a haven for elephant orphans ( You could adopt one you Know). After Which you could go Kiss a Giraffe at the Giraffe Centre.
For Lunch, you have a Variety of Options to Choose from! If I was your Guide, Tamarind Restaurant, Roast by Carnivore and Picazzo would be my First suggestions. But, believe me you whatever your palate desires, Nairobi has a restaurant for it.
The Nairobi National Museum is also a beautiful way to spend your afternoon as you learn a bit of Kenyan History.
And to end the day, enjoy some traditional Dances at The Bomas of Kenya.
Adrenaline Pumping Activities
We in Kenya Like to have fun! A trip out of the City’s hustle and bustle would be a nice refresher before you get back into the board room .
Situated in the heart of the Aberdare Ranges is the Kereita Forest. The Forest is a beautiful place to enjoy such activities. Some of the Activities here include Archery, Mountain biking, Fly fishing, Horse riding & Footgolf.
