MANY INJURED AS FUEL TANKS EXPLODE NEAR CAIRO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

A massive explosion, heard across much of the city of Cairo, has occurred late yesterday evening at or near the international airport, where reportedly two tanks of a fuel depot were going up in flames.
No official explanations were given at this stage for a suspected cause leaving it to speculation at this time over what triggered the blaze, a mere accident, sabotage or a terror strike. Additional feedback suggests that the fuel tanks were outside the official airport perimeter fencing.
Air operations continued into and out of the airport though traffic was said to have been affected with major jams building up.
Reports filtering through also speak of at least a dozen people being injured though apparently there were no fatalities, at least none reported at this stage.
