A Tanzania registered Cessna 208B Grand Caravan, 5H-NWA, MSN 208B0891, crashed earlier today while attempting to take off from Mundri in South Sudan.
Operated by Duk Air Travel was the aircraft destined for Juba, the capital of South Sudan.
Reports from Juba suggest that both nose gear and part of the main gear collapsed as the aircraft was performing the take off run which would make technical failure the primary suspect of the accident.

According to the TCAA aircraft register is the plane registered under the name of Zantas Air Services LTD, of P.O.Box 1946 in Arusha / Tanzania, entered service first in 2001 and was registered in Tanzania in 2013.
Attached screenshot also suggests that the Certificate of Airworthiness had either expired or was in the process of renewal, which will make the air accident investigation an interesting one also looking at maintenance records of the aircraft besides the regulatory standing.

    It has a valid CoA.
TCAA website is never up to date.
    Stay safe out there.

  2. The last statement is inaccurate. The said aircraft is airworthy. TCAA do not update information on their website regularly. You can contact them or the company directly to confirm.
