Police Seize 106kg of Ivory, Arrests Five in Bukedea

Uganda has intensified its crackdown on illegal wildlife trafficking, with authorities announcing the arrest of five suspects and the seizure of 106 kilograms of elephant ivory in an intelligence-led operation, according to a statement issued on Monday. The Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA), working with the Uganda Police Force, said the suspects were arrested in Bukedea district in eastern Uganda.
