| Uganda has intensified its crackdown on illegal wildlife trafficking, with authorities announcing the arrest of five suspects and the seizure of 106 kilograms of elephant ivory in an intelligence-led operation, according to a statement issued on Monday. The Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA), working with the Uganda Police Force, said the suspects were arrested in Bukedea district in eastern Uganda. |
