#PoriniCamps and #GameWatchers News Updates and Great Deals

Dear ATCNews readers,
Greetings from Kenya where international flights resumed last month and our camps are open and welcoming visitors.

The Porini Safari Camps re-opened a couple of months ago and our guests have been enjoying some exceptionally good wildlife-viewing in and around our conservancies.

The Masai Mara is currently hosting vast numbers of Wildebeest on their annual Migration, and guests of Porini Mara Camp, Porini Lion Camp and Porini Cheetah Camp have been treated to incredible scenes of the herds crossing fast-flowing, crocodile-infested rivers and escaping other predators in an ultimate fight for survival. You can keep up with all the wildlife action here on our YouTube channel – please subscribe for the latest updates: https://www.youtube.com/c/PoriniCamps

Regular Porini Camps guests Matt & Alison Caldwell arrived on one of the first flights out from the UK and stayed at Porini Mara and Porini Lion camps. Matt shared these images of "Fig", one of the resident female leopards taken near Porini Lion.

"For those wondering about international travel, we did lots of homework, thought long and hard and decided that it was as safe as it ever can be and that our desire to help the locals whose jobs are in danger was worth it.

We know we made the right choice as once we had left the UK we soon found out how well other countries are doing and we felt safer than when we are at home! If you have ever considered a safari then we would say now really is a great time", (Matt Caldwell, August 2020).

Come and join us as soon as you can for your own incredible wilderness experience!
Kenya Red Cross Certification

The Porini Safari Camps were among the first in Kenya to be checked and certified to re-open with new Covid-19 safety standards in line with the World Health Organization and Kenya Ministry of Health requirements.

In addition, our teams have now completed "Covid-19 Sensitization" training with the Kenya Red Cross Training Institute.

Various measures are in place to protect our guests and staff including regular health checks of staff, temperature screening of guests on arrival, deep-cleaning procedures, hand sanitizer stations and social distancing requirements.
