JOVAGO SIGNS DEAL WITH TANZANIA’S PRECISION AIR

Africa’s largest hospitality booking platform, Kenya based JOVAGO.com, has announced that they have signed an extensive deal with Tanzania’s Precision Air.
Under the agreement will passengers of Precision Air be able to access Jovago’s full range of available hotels, for instance over 1.000 in Kenya alone, when booking their flights through the Precision Air website, giving them the option to at the same time also confirm accommodation arrangements, an ideal one stop travel solution.
Estelle Verdier-Watine, Jovago’s Managing Director, commented after signing the deal: ‘This integration creates a one-stop shop for the customer, a great convenience for Precision travellers. We look forward to this partnership having a great impact on passenger satisfaction as they now have access to discounted rates on accommodation. An integral part in meeting this objective is to create or design products that are both efficient and customer-friendly. We believe this value added service to the customer will go a long way in promoting inter-region tourism in East Africa, especially after three of our countries appeared on WTO’s recent report on Africa’s most visited destinations ’.
From the airline it was Azda Nkullo, Head of Corporate Communication at Precision Air who responded: ‘Airlines and hotel industry have always been interdependent hence our new partnership only solidifies the existing bond with a main focus on the customer. Our clients flying with Precision Air to Nairobi, Bukoba , Zanzibar, Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Mwanza and Mtwara now have the luxury and advantage to a two-way service on a single platform, both the flight ticket and accommodation at the destination’.
Precision Air is a partner airline of Kenya Airways and flies in codeshare with KQ from Dar es Salaam and Kilimanjaro to Nairobi while serving a range of domestic destinations with their fleet of ATR 42’s and ATR 72’s.
