While the Board of Directors has, ahead of the upcoming Annual General meeting of the company, already recommended that no dividend be paid by Precision Air to the shareholders, has it also become evident that management has been able to narrow down the losses, compared to past years.
Both bottom line and operating losses have over the past years reduced considerably after a failed expansion strategy driven by the previous CEO, using jet aircraft, was ditched when it became clear the move was not sustainable.
Now operating a uniform fleet of ATR turboprop -42 and -72 aircraft does Precision Air serve both Nairobi and Entebbe on regional routes and flies to a number of destinations within Tanzania, including serving Zanzibar and the Serengeti’s main airstrip at Seronera with schedule flights.
