Precision Air takes pole position for on time departures

96 PERCENT OF PRECISION AIR FLIGHTS REPORTED TO BE ON TIME

Tanzania’s Precision Air, the only publicly traded airline on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange, has taken the African lead in on time performance in 2017 with 95.8 percent of all flights leaving on time – by IATA definition within 15 minutes of scheduled departure times.
Out of 9,050 flights during the time under review were 8,672 flights on-time, a whopping nearly 96 percent.

Commenting on the report, Precision Air’s Managing Director and CEO Ms. Sauda Rajab said: ‘Air transport is all about time, people choose to travel by air to save time, and here at Precision Air On-Time Performance is our top priority. We calculate our on-time performance from zero minutes, our commitment is not to waste even a single minute of our valued customer‘.

The data were provided by OAG, short for the Official Airline Guide, a company based in the UK.
