Tanzania’s leading airline Precision Air is planning to further support the tourism industry by adding more frequencies to tourist destinations in the country. The additional frequencies will be added to flights between, DAR-SERONERA-KILIMANJARO-ZANZIBAR and KILIMANJARO-NAIROBI
Precision Air Air currently operates 12 flights a day to Kilimanjaro, Arusha and Zanzibar while flying to Nairobi 6 times a day from both Dar es Salaam and Kilimanjaro, all flights aiming at connecting tourists to the country’s key attractions on the northern safari circuit and the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar.
Precision Air is planning to add one additional flight to Seronera from 4 flights a week to five flights a week. Currently Precision Air operates to Seronera every Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. The new planned flight will operate on Friday effective from October this year.
Precision Air is also planning to add two flights between Kilimanjaro and Nairobi. Currently Precision Air is operating three daily flights between Kilimanjaro and Nairobi and it is planning to increase to five flights a day in the winter schedule beginning in October.
Precision Air’s Marketing and Corporate Affairs Manager Mr. Hillary Mremi, said Precision Air understands the importance of having reliable air transport for the growth of tourism in Tanzania, and that Precision Air is prepared to support government efforts to grow tourism by facilitating tourist movements.
