QATAR AIRWAYS SET TO INCREASE CAPACITY TO ENTEBBE

Travelers from and to Uganda will no doubt welcome the news that three of the daily flights from Doha to Entebbe and then via Kigali back to Doha, will in 2020 be separated and operate as a nonstop service both ways to both destinations.
Presently does Qatar Airways fly a Boeing B787 daily to Entebbe and Kigali but from next year, dates to be confirmed, will three of the flights be nonstop to both Entebbe and Kigali.
It is not known if these services will be using the Airbus A320 or if the B787 will remain the airline’s aircraft of choice on these routes.
Meanwhile has Qatar Airways also confirmed additional flights to other African destinations.
Kilimanjaro and Dar es Salaam will also be delinked next year, offering nonstop flights from Doha to both destinations. Windhoek will see the number of flights rise from the present five to daily flights and Maputo will see an increase from presently three flights a week to five.
Several European and Asian destinations will equally see additional flights come their way, among them such fancied places like Langkawi and Colombo. In Europe cities like Oslo, Venice, Zurich and Edinburgh – to name but a few – are among those benefiting from the airline remaining in expansion mode.
Qatar Airways also announced that Osaka in Japan will be a new long haul destination next year at of 06th of April.
