QATAR AIRWAYS’ NEW TRADE FAIR STAND CONCEPT TO GO ‘LIVE‘ AT #ITB IN #BERLIN
(Posted 27th February 2018)
Qatar Airways will unveil its redesigned exhibition stand on the 07th of March, the first day of ITB Berlin 2018, which is the world’s largest travel and tourism trade show. The high profile unveiling will be followed by a press conference at 12:00 pm, which is set to further detail the award-winning airline’s plans for the year ahead.
Visitors to the airline’s stand will be excited by the innovative technology that Qatar Airways has employed to its redesigned exhibition stand, where they can interact with the airline’s advanced products and experience Qatar Airways’ renowned five-star Qatari hospitality.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Mr. Akbar Al Baker, said: "I am looking forward to presenting Qatar Airways’ new exhibition stand to the world’s most notable gathering of travel and tourism professionals. In the spirit of exploration, our new stand will feature innovative ways to interact with Qatar Airways. Of course, you can also depend on our team to experience the many award-winning cabin designs and products, such as our ground-breaking Qsuite. We take our role as a leader in the aviation industry seriously and have developed this concept for that very reason."
The airline’s revolutionary Business Class seat, Qsuite, which was launched at the 2017 edition of ITB Berlin, will again be on display at Qatar Airways’ booth. Guests and visitors to ITB Berlin will be invited to familiarise themselves with the exciting “First in Business” patented product, which allows multiple configurations for passengers to tailor their inflight experience to their specific needs.
Aside from featuring the world’s first-ever double bed in Business Class, Qsuite is the airline’s first-ever cabin to offer aft and forward-facing seats, taking cabin innovation to an entirely new level with its quad configuration, allowing passengers more choice, privacy and personalisation in their travel experience. Sliding panels enable passengers to transform their space into a shared area customisable for groups of two, three, or four, allowing them to work, dine or socialise at 40,000 feet.
ITB Berlin showcases a range of travel exhibitors from over 180 countries and five continents, providing over 160,000 visitors with information on new products, services and facilities in the tourism industry.
Qatar Airways welcomes all guests at ITB to visit its new exhibition pavilion at the trade fair in Hall 2.2, stand 207 and 208 from the 07th to the 11th of March.
Qatar Airways has in the recent past added many new exciting destinations to its network, including Chiang Mai, Thailand; Penang, Malaysia and Canberra, Australia, with direct service to Cardiff, United Kingdom; Mykonos, Greece; and Malaga, Spain set to launch later this year.
Known for industry firsts, the airline also just last week took delivery of the first #Airbus A350-1000 as Global Launch Customer – Qatar Airways was also Global Launch Customer for the Airbus A350-900 – which is now already deployed on the Doha to London route.
All these developments took place despite an illegal airspace denial by GCC neighbours which took their political differences with the State of Qatar into the business arena, by many thought to be prompted by jealousy over Qatar Airways’ immense success.
As well as being voted Skytrax ‘Airline of the Year’ by travellers from around the world, Qatar’s national flag carrier also won a raft of other major awards at last year’s ceremony, including ‘Best Airline in the Middle East,’ ‘World’s Best Business Class’ and ‘World’s Best First Class Airline Lounge.’
Qatar Airways operates a modern fleet of more than 200 aircraft to a network of more than 150 key business and leisure destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, North America and South America.
