The new Radisson Blu Hotel & Residence Arboretum Nairobi has today officially opened its doors, adding not just a second Radisson Blu to the hotel scene in Nairobi but also offering a new dimension in hospitality.
With 122 rooms and suites is the new hotel much smaller than its established ‘older brother’ on Upper Hill, but small can be beautiful and in this case it clearly is.
Located right next to one of Nairobi’s green lungs, the Arboretum, can visitors easily enjoy a stroll through the pathways of this extraordinary botanical garden, which is home to over a hundred bird species and more than 300 exotic trees.
The new hotel offers 24 hour room service and individual climate control in rooms which give a very contemporary and modern feel.
Free high speed broadband WiFi too is a feature which Radisson Blu hotels offer their guests ‘on the house’.
The Radisson Blu Arboretum is the third hotel the global group manages in the Kenya capital after first opening the Radisson Blu Upper Hill 4 years ago before then adding the Park Inn by Radisson in Westlands.
ATCNews extends a warm welcome to the latest arrival on the Kenyan hospitality scene.
Meanwhile is tomorrow, Wednesday 02nd of October also the 9th edition of the Magical Kenya Travel Expo going underway, which will see over 200 hosted buyers and international travel media meet Kenyan exhibitors in the halls of the Kenyatta International Convention Centre. Visitors to the show should take the opportunity to see the new hotel which, traffic permitting, is just 15 minutes away from the expo venue.
