Photographic workshop
If you love Africa and take your camera with you on safari, you should sign up for Lou Coetzer’s photography workshop, to be held in Oxford on the weekend of March 8-9.
Lou is a top South African wildlife photographer and regular Photoschool contributor to Travel Africa. His popular workshop is ideal for amateur and experienced photographers:
Day One will look at:
* Rethinking the fundamentals of photography
* Applying your equipment correctly
* Photography basics
* Application to wildlife photography
Day Two will consider:
* Software, workflow and editing.
Attendees can book for either of the days only, although it is recommended you try and do both.

Living with Cheetahs: how humans and wildlife can flourish together
A talk by Jonathan and Angie Scott, and Dr Laurie Marker
Now, here’s one for all wildlife and Big Cat Diary fans! This is a rare opportunity to see first hand the evocative images of award-winning photographers Jonathan and Angela Scott, and hear their inspiring stories of living alongside cheetahs in the Masai Mara. In addition, Dr Laurie Marker, founder of Cheetah Conservation Fund, will talk about her journey from California to Namibia to enable humans and predators to flourish together.
All proceeds will go to supporting Cheetah Conservation Fund.
