Sun shines through the canopy of Kibale National Park to warm my heart
Morning walks along the forest trails during lockdown – round and round in one big and neverending circle – taught me the power of living in the moment.
Appreciating nature taught me to focus on the NOW … and my worries evaporate … because turn your head away for an instant and you’ll miss a glimpse of the Red Glider butterfly or the call of the African Emerald Cuckoo.
Kibale Forest is the inspiration for the East Africa Travel Podcast which launches this month. We go live on Monday 29th May*. I’ll send you a reminder so you won’t miss a beat!
What to expect from the weekly podcast:
- Nature walks to the soothing sounds of birdsong from Kibale Forest and beyond
- Featured destinations across East Africa
- Personal, well-researched travel advice
- Inspiring conversations with nature-lovers, guidebook writers, Africaphiles and interesting people from around the world (who knows where we will end up?)
- Stories, anecdotes – and strictly positive vibes
THANK YOU for all your support. It means the world to me. I can’t wait to share more of my life with you!
*And yes, we had planned to launch this coming Monday but illness forced me to postpone. The Muzungu is now back in the game
