CHINA’S NATIONAL TOURISM AWARDS NAME REUNION AS BEST OUTDOOR DESTINATION

Reunion Island won the Award of ‘Best Destination Outdoor 2016‘ at the National Awards ceremony by Tourism Best Travel Media, a leading media in the tourism sector in China.
This recognition reinforces even more the positioning of the island on this growing market, such as the various actions and the continuing efforts of development undertaken by the Reunion Island Tourism to meet the expectations of Chinese customers and increase the interest of travel professionals about the island.
Reunion had won, since the beginning of 2016 , several awards in China as ‘best outdoor destination‘, ‘best honeymoon destination in the world‘, ‘the most promising exotic destination‘ and the Award ‘best destination‘ at the tourism expo in Shanghai.
This prestigious ceremony organized by Best Travel Media, Tourism Media, China Tourism Academy,reward many players across the tourism world. It took place in Beijing in the presence of many key tourism stakeholders.The goal was to congratulate the professionals of the tourism industry for their outstanding actions in the field of accommodation, transport, travel agencies and related fields.
For twelve years, the National Tourism Awards recognize the latest tourism achievements in China. Best Travel Media promoted Regional Tourist Boards, tourist offices of various countries, various tour operators, different airlines, different destinations and tour various vendors in China via the media, at exhibitions and in training sessions.
