Holidays in La Réunion with peace of mind through packages "Travel and Dialysis"
In 2016, 43,000 people in France were in need of regular dialysis. The packages "Travel and Dialysis" allows such patients to discover the island of Reunion without missing any of their dialysis schedules which can be planned for evening hours or during days without a travel programme.
In terms of administrative procedures the Aurar is in direct contact with health insurances to ensure that no medical expenses need to be advanced by travelers for the provision of dialysis.
For travelers from Europe the (EHIC) European Health Insurance Card allows them to benefit from support for care during their trip to Reunion. Two options were designed for travel to Reunion and are contained in the "Travel and Dialysis" packages developed by Vanilla Islands Tours:
- The tour allows travelers to explore the various attractions of the island while being housed in different accommodation. The main benefit: an optimization of the time spent on the road every day for longer stops at the sites;
- The stay is particularly suitable for travelers who wish to enjoy their accommodation during their holidays. The benefit: no change of accommodation during the stay and therefore no need to move every day.
- There are two kinds of stay:
- The more adventurous discovery stay and the relaxing stay to meet everyone’s desires.
