REDUCING COST AND INCREASING SITE VISITS IS THE FORMULA FOR REUNION’S ‘CULTURE PASS‘

From 25th of June can visitors to Reunion buy the new Culture Pass which will open the doors for them of the heritage, history and culture of Reunion. This pass will allow to benefit from access at reduced price in the five cultural institutions partners: The Museum of Decorative Arts of the Indian Ocean (Madoi) Kélonia, Stella Matutina, City Volcano, Saga du Rhum and the initiative Reunion Region.
The Culture Pass invites holders to the study of volcanic phenomena and the geological evolution of the island to the city of Volcano, discover the history of sugar and Reunion society at Stella Matutina, traveling through a mix of cultures and heritage in Madoi, to visit the world of turtles in Kélonia and experience the story of rum making and consuming at the Saga du Rhum. With the Culture Pass, Reunion intends to democratize access to culture for its visitors. It allows pass holders to benefit from privileged access in five discounted partner institutions, from July 01st to September 30th this year. For a fee of € 23 instead of € 35 full price, the Culture Pass entitles for entrance in the participating museums.

The pass will also be available for sale in the City of Volcano, at Kélonia at Madoi, the Saga du Rhum and Stella Matutina, from the island’s several regional Tourist Offices, agencies and on the site www.monticket .re.
