Reunion Island voted the most promising exotic destination in China

After winning two awards in China in January, Reunion Island has again landed a trophy, this time at the 2016 China Forum for Travelers.The award ceremony has been held for the past seven years and is organized by Ctrip, the online travel agency leader in the Chinese market.

On March 04th Reunion Island proved again popular with Chinese travelers when during the award ceremony of the “2016 China Forum Travelers” , Reunion destination was nominated in the category “2015 Ctrip Travel World List”. The island was placed in the top 3 of the most promising exotic destinations Ctrip with 20,217 votes, just after Moscow and Provence.

In receiving this award, Reunion Island has become one of the latest trendy destinations for Chinese travelers.

The ceremony “2016 China Travellers Forum” was held in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan province in west-central China. This is one of the most famous and popular award ceremony in China and is every year organized by Ctrip, the online travel agency leader in the Chinese market . This event attracted more than a thousand professionals from across the tourism industry .

The China Travelers Forum has now been held for seven years and is based on the opinions and ratings of the 250 million users of Ctrip. The event covers the entire tourist offerings, rewarding six broad categories of companies in the sector: destinations, hotels, tourist sites, airlines, tours and cruises.

During the voting period, which extend over a period of three months, more than four million users who express their opinion.
